I graduated from Brown University with a BA in African-American Studies in 2000 and then worked for many years in Rhode Island as a health care and child care union organizer with SEIU 1199NE. I now live in Dorchester, MA and I am a PhD student in Political Science at Boston University. My research interests are related to social movements, race and class in the US, and radical political thought. I also enjoy writing & thinking about film and culture.
